ARE WE A GOOD FIT?

A brief self-assessment to help you know if working together might be the right next step.

Please answer the following with honesty and curiosity. There are no right or wrong responses — only what’s true for you right now.

1. How would you describe your relationship with inner work?

(A) I’ve done quite a bit already and I’m looking to go deeper.

(B) I’ve touched into personal work before, but not in a consistent way.

(C) I haven’t done much yet, but I feel deeply ready to begin.

(D) I’m mostly hoping for someone to tell me what to do and fix the issue.

2. What do you most want from psychological work?

(A) To explore and integrate deeper patterns and parts of myself.

(B) To gain clarity on current struggles and move through them with support.

(C) To feel safe enough to face things I’ve kept tucked away.

(D) To quickly remove symptoms and get back to normal life.

3. How open are you to working with emotional discomfort as part of the healing process?

(A) I understand it’s part of the journey and I’m willing.

(B) I’m learning how to tolerate it, but I want support in that.

(C) I tend to avoid discomfort but I’m open to shifting that.

(D) I really need to avoid emotional discomfort right now.

4. How do you feel about a relational, collaborative approach — where we explore together, rather than follow a strict formula?

(A) That feels exactly right.

(B) I’m used to more structured therapy, but I’m curious to try.

(C) I prefer someone to direct the process with clear answers and advice.

(D) I’m unsure — I’ve never worked that way before.

5. How would you describe your current capacity to commit to regular sessions (weekly or fortnightly)?

(A) I have time, resources, and energy to engage deeply.

(B) I can commit, but may need some flexibility.

(C) I want to come occasionally, when things feel urgent.

(D) I’m not in a position to commit to regular work at the moment.

6. Which of the following statements feels most true for you?

(A) I’m ready to meet myself in new ways and move forward.

(B) I’m on the edge of something, but I need help crossing into it.

(C) I’m uncertain if I want change, but I know I need help.

(D) I mostly just want someone to make the symptoms go away.

Interpreting Your Responses

This work is best suited to people who:

Have some existing self-awareness or the desire to build it

Are resourced enough (internally or externally) to engage with depth

Value integration over quick fixes

Are open to emotional process, complexity, and collaboration

If most of your answers were A or B, we’re likely to work well together.

If you answered mostly C, there may still be alignment — particularly if you’re feeling ready to grow capacity. It could be worth exploring further with a phone call.

If you chose D for several responses, it might be worth reflecting on what type of support feels most aligned for you right now.
